MANTIS SHRIMP

For my genus hour I am doing the Mantis shrimp.

questions

L.I think this would benefit others because it could help find a way to keep them contained and keep them from hurting people.

A. Questions:
-how big is the mantis shrimp.
-do people eat mantis shrimp.
-do they hurt people.
- How do they break the glass of a aquarium.
-Do they swim in colony's.
-where do they live.
-How strong are their arms.
-is their a scientific name for the Mantis shrimp.
- how many colours can they see.

I need to find out how strong their arms are and how they break glass. I hope to find out why the mantis shrimp is so colourful like a peacock.

U. Answers to questions:
Mantis shrimps typically grow to 10 centimetres some can get to 38 centimetres long. people can eat the mantis shrimp but they are very expensive to buy. The shrimp have very high power pressurized mussels in their arms. The mantis shrimp swims alone. The mantis shrimp dose have a scientific name that name is Stomatopoda. The Mantis shrimp can see 12 colours that's 9 more then humans.the arms are as strong as a 22 caliber bullet.
